Adriana & Franco

Glen Ellen CA
It's no secret that I love weddings, and I STILL get teary at each one. I can't help it! Each one is unique and special in their own way, and no matter the decor or style, each couple has their own story that gets me each and every time.
Adriana and Franco's elopement is up there with one of the sweetest celebrations I've witnessed to date. Franco first laid eyes on Adriana in their hometown of Miami, FL... they were dancing at a club, and as soon as he spotted her, he just *had* to make his move... the rest is history. They moved to LA together, got some dogs, built a business together and recently decided to make their union official by eloping to the wine country with only their parents by their side.
They found the perfect vacation rental in the small town of Glen Ellen, just north of Sonoma. Nestled in the hills, surrounded by oaks and manzanita trees, the "treehouse" certainly appears to be high in the branches, but hosts all the fancy amenities they'd have in their own home. I arrived to their vacation getaway before their parents or officiant arrived, and immediately clicked with the sweet, young couple. Adriana and Franco are both such lovely people, calm in nature but obviously fiercely passionate for one another. We had a blast poking around the property, getting to know each other and taking portraits.
Once their family and officiant arrived, their ceremony was held by the pool with the gorgeous view as their backdrop. Adriana's father gave a touching speech and words of advice that left me speechless. I strongly admired the close bond their family bestowed, and appreciated their warm and inclusive nature. God and family are the priorities of focus to this family, and every word, touch or glance between each other came from a place of love-- I felt it, and it was truly amazing to witness.
After the vows were said, we went inside for a celebratory toast and slice of banana cake from their favorite LA bakery. I stayed to see them drive off into the sunset for their dinner in St. Helena, and left with a warm feeling on my heart. Yet another successful love story that I was extremely grateful to capture. <3
Congrats Adriana and Franco, and all my best!
