Hello sweet things, it's me again!
Did I tell you I was a vendor at Nevada City's first One Fine Day wedding fair last month? Well, it was amazing and I'm here to tell you all about it. The lovely ladies at Gold Dust Collective put this entire event together (with the help of the Miner's Foundry where it was also hosted) with the intention of introducing brides and grooms to the many fabulous vendors that are established in Nevada County.
Nevada City and the surrounding area has become a huge destination for those who want an unique, beautiful, and still fairly inexpensive (compared to the Bay Area and beyond) wedding. From vineyards to gardens surrounded by pine trees, to historic buildings and more, there's a wide range of locations to suit any type of wedding vision/style.
Inspiration was abound at One Fine Day: with DIY classes, a vintage fashion show, and beautiful displays from the many vendors who were set up, couples who attended were definitely treated with a one of a kind experience!
From my point of view, I had a great time mingling with people, networking with vendors, and gaining inspiration myself. It was my first time having my own booth at a wedding fair, and I learned a great deal from the entire day and also had a great time!
So, if you're thinking of having a wedding in the Sierra Foothills, do yourself a favor and check out some of my favorite vendors from the One Fine Day event:
